It sucks having a conscience.  Now I'm feeling a little bad that the concept of this blog is basically to make fun of people.  Okay, now that I've admitted it, is it okay to proceed?

I do think I need to add an editorial caveat.  "Normal" is a really loaded word.  I think it was Whoopi Goldberg who said that "normal is in the eye of the beholder" and I fully agree.  In fact, I think that my range of normal is far more broad than that of many of my friends, and I've generally prided myself on having friends from a wide range of backgrounds and experience.  So, when I joined the dating pool, I was surprised to see exactly how many guys fall far outside even liberal bounds of what I would even consider acceptable dating material.
